Examples of Good Packaging and Bad Packaging

In our society, we come across packaging design in our local grocery stores, retail stores, and other places that carry everyday merchandise. In packaging design, there are designs that are very creative and effective while other designs are really hard to look at and would make consumers not want to purchase the item.

Good Packaging:
These packages are effective because of the colors relating to the product, the use of imagery, and using classic typography. All of these elements are what makes these packaging designs simple but effective at the same time.

 Bad Packaging:
Although there are good package designs, there are also bad package designs as well. There are multiple reasons why some package designs are considered bad; these reasons include the incorrect usage of typography, not providing enough color or using too much color, being too direct, and not enough effort was given in these designs at all.
